April 18-24, Grades 6,7 and 8, ELA
April 24-26, Grades 6, 7 and 8, Math

Please be sure your child arrives on time to school so that we can begin testing promptly. 

Grade 6 REACH OUT Trip!

Please complete and return together with a check in the amount of $175.00 payable to Tenafly Middle School. In order for us to best plan for the needs of your child, please return forms and payment to your child’s 5th grade teacher, as early as possible before the end of this school year.

After June 7th please return forms and payment in a single envelope to:

Bicycle Permission Form
Please click HERE to access the Bicycle Permission form and to read an important letter from Vice Principal George regarding wearing an approved helmet when cycling, roller-skating, in-line skating or skate boarding.  

The form is to be returned to the homeroom teacher ONLY if your child would like to ride a bicycle to school.  
8th Grade Transition Meeting at THS

8th Grade Transition Meeting for Parents/Guardians AND Students 
When?  April 20, 2017 at 7:00pm
Where? Tenafly High School

On Thursday, April 20, at 7PM, parents report to the Auditorium and students to the Library Media Center. The evening’s agenda will include the following topics:  Insights into support systems, an overview of clubs and sports, school facilities & resources, and tools for success.  THS Teen Pep Leaders will engage 8th grade students in small groups and tour the school building

All Parents/Guardians and Students are encouraged to visit the THS website to familiarize yourselves with the Program of Studies, a comprehensive curriculum guide of course offerings at THS.
The Program of Studies is found in the Important Documents tab on the left side of the homepage.

Paul Galan Presentation
On May 26, 2016, there was an assembly held for the sixth graders to see a presentation by Mr. Paul Galan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Holocaust Museum and Study Center of Rockland County.  Mr. Galan spoke about his experience as a young boy during the Holocaust.  For the past five years, he has given our students a compelling, age-appropriate, and heart-felt presentation that helps them understand this subject on a very personal level.  Click HERE to hear his presentation.
