High School Football Interest Meeting - March
On Thursday March 2, there will be a meeting for all 8th grade students interested in joining the THS Football team next year. If your child is interested in joining the football team, this meeting is mandatory.  The meeting will take place at the High School starting at 3:30 pm. Students are to meet at the main entrance of the Middle School at 3pm. The Varsity Captains will be by to introduce themselves and escort students to the High School.

Project Cicero

TMS will once again be participating in Project Cicero, an annual book drive to support classroom libraries in the New York City school system.  Beginning Monday, February 13th, through Wednesday, March 1st,   donation boxes will be located outside the main office and cafeteria.  In addition to our collection, TMS will also be bringing a “Van of Volunteers” to the Dwight-Englewood School on East Palisade Ave. in Englewood on Friday, March 3rd.  A bus will depart TMS at 3:30 and return at 6:15.  We will be working with other local volunteers to help sort the combined community collection of books.  Interested students should complete and return the permission slip to Ms. d’Adolf by February 24th.    All student volunteers will receive a Certificate of Community Service.  Click here for more information about  PROJECT CICERO.


Yearbook Sales


It’s t
hat time of year again!  Time to order your child’s yearbook!       The yearbook is not just for 8th graders.  6th and 7th grades  are also represented and the yearbook is a great keepsake of your student’s middle school years. Please see attached flyer for more information.

 

All orders are placed directly with the publisher through their website:  www.jostensyearbooks.com  Please do not contact the school regarding yearbook sales – they are handled entirely by Jostens.


Deadline for yearbook orders: March 31, 2017  


You can make your child's yearbook extra special with a personalized cover.  Deadline for personalization: February 24, 2017


The yearbooks will be delivered to the Middle School in June.  6th and 7th graders will receive their yearbook during homeroom and the  8th graders receive theirs at the yearbook signing party.

For 7th and 8th Graders - Course Level Appeals

CLICK HERE for the Request to Appeal Course Level Recommendations.  Requests must be received by February 10.
IMPORTANT:  Only completed appeals will be accepted on the 10th. In order for an appeal to be complete, students must have their counselor sign off on the appeal and the teacher must be informed.

8th Grade Trip Information

Tutoring for Middle Schoolers at High School

Bicycle Permission Form

Paul Galan Presentation
On May 26, 2016, there was an assembly held for the sixth graders to see a presentation by Mr. Paul Galan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Holocaust Museum and Study Center of Rockland County.  Mr. Galan spoke about his experience as a young boy during the Holocaust.  For the past five years, he has given our students a compelling, age-appropriate, and heart-felt presentation that helps them understand this subject on a very personal level.  Click HERE to hear his presentation.
