2016-17 Governor's Educator of the Year Program

It is that time of year when the Governor's Educator of the Year Program takes place. áPrincipals will form a Selection Committee to select two individuals: 1) the highest scoring Teacher and 2) the highest scoring Educational Services Professional in their school. á

Please consider taking a few minutes to show your appreciation for any staff member who has made a difference in your children's lives. áAlthough we can only select the winners, we take great pride in reading all of the nominations and hearing stories from parents. áYou can also encourage your children to fill out forms as well. á

Paul Galan Presentation
On May 26, 2016, there was an assembly held for the sixth gradersáto see a presentation by Mr. Paul Galan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Holocaust Museum and Study Center of Rockland County.á Mr. Galan spoke about his experience as a young boy during the Holocaust.á For the past five years, he has given our students a compelling, age-appropriate, and heart-felt presentation that helps them understand this subject on a very personal level.á Click HERE to hear his presentation.á
