Contest is open to all 8th grade students - the design should incorporate images inspired by the places visited on the trip - Philadelphia, Lancaster, Hershey Park.

Rockland Boulder Trip
6th and 7th grade students will be participating in a special  program sponsored by the Rockland Boulders Baseball Team on June 14.  Please click HERE for the permission slip which was due on May 19.  If your student has not already done so, please be sure to return the slip with payment to the homeroom teacher as soon as possible.

Eye On India - May 31, 5:00pm
The TMS Citizens of the World Club is sponsoring “Eye on India,” a pre-concert cultural, educational, and fundraising banquet from 5:00pm-6:45pm on May 31st in the TMS cafeteria to sponsor the feeding and education of impoverished Indian children. This event will feature Indian food and entertainment, while raising awareness about an important global problem. All proceeds will be given to Akshaya Patra, our award-winning partner organization.

This event is ideal for parents of the sixth-grade student-performers and other interested Tenafly residents as the 6th grade Spring Concert will begin at 7:00pm following this event.

Grade 6 REACH OUT Trip!
Click HERE for information, permission forms and field trip forms needed for the 2017 Grade 6 REACH OUT - the overnight trip to Club Getaway Outdoor Education Center, in Kent, CT.

Please complete and return together with a check in the amount of $175.00 payable to Tenafly Middle School. In order for us to best plan for the needs of your child, please return forms and payment to your child’s 5th grade teacher, as early as possible before the end of this school year.

After June 7th please return forms and payment in a single envelope to:

Bicycle Permission Form

Paul Galan Presentation
On May 26, 2016, there was an assembly held for the sixth graders to see a presentation by Mr. Paul Galan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Holocaust Museum and Study Center of Rockland County.  Mr. Galan spoke about his experience as a young boy during the Holocaust.  For the past five years, he has given our students a compelling, age-appropriate, and heart-felt presentation that helps them understand this subject on a very personal level.  Click HERE to hear his presentation.
